Squake has been a nightclub DJ since early 2003. Breaking into the scene when jungle/drum & bass was still the true underground sound of edm, Squake became instantly addicted attending the legendary RESPECT nights in LA from 99'-03' Inspired by greats like LTJ-Bukem, ANDY C, MAMPI SWIFT, A-SIDES, BAILEY, TOTAL SCIENCE, & MARCUS INTALEX, Squake pushes boundaries with genres, and holds intensely long mixes, utilizing 3 decks making his live performance an intense ride through all styles hip hop, drum & bass, and dub. Leading Nashville drum & bass with his crew Represent, Squake is known through out the south for pleasing heads, and keeping ladies moving. With constant tours, and residencies in Miami, Austin, St. Louis, and Indianapolis, Squake stays on the road often, so look for him to invade your ears with a powerhouse mix of bass music that will not disappoint!
Squake is a San Diego native, and was introduced to Drum & Bass while attending some of the legendary Respect nights and massive Raves while living in Southern Cal. His love for early Drum & Bass eventually brought him to the decks. While honing his skills living in CA, Squake emerged on to the scene soon after moving to Nashville, TN in 2005. Squake immediately landed residencies at The Red Iguana, Spy Bar, Lot 7, and Club Mai, while also rinsing out weekly local parties.
In 2008, Squake alongside Legion, started Represent Drum & Bass Nashville. Represent has hosted many of some of the scene's heavy hitters such as; Ed Rush & Optical, A-Sides, Shiftee, Dara, Klute, Teebee, Dieselboy, AK1200, Twisted Individual, C4C, Skynet, Random Movement, Stunna, Dave Owen, Sinistarr, and Sol:ID, just to name a few.
Summer 2009, Squake launched his weekly show Represent Radio on Bassdrive, Represent Radio broadcasts LIVE every Friday from 5-7PM CST. While handling the high demands of live radio, Squake keeps his show fresh, showcasing the newest released/unreleased tracks covering all styles of D&B.
Summer 2010, Squake became part of the Sine Language Imprint. While Squake spends most of his time doing AR and Design, he has been busy in the studio working on forthcoming releases. Still a rookie in the sequencer, Squake's tunes have already appeared on Electronic Warfare with host The Overfiend, The Mix Test with host Micken, and The Greenroom with host Stunna, and have been getting rinsed in clubs all over the south. check them @: http://soundcloud.com/squake. Squake was also the head producer for Everything's Nice Productions, Nashville, TN. Responsible for bringing and maintaing solid Bass music line-ups, Everything NIce set the standard for dance music in Nashville.
With a busy winter in the studio, Squake signed several tunes to Exiled Recordings at the end of 2012. These Forthcoming beats; Dusty Johnson and Rainy Days, will hit all digital outlets summer 2013.
2013 is very busy with confirmed bookings over much of the U.S. and internationally abroad, but also alongside the legendary A-SIDES for their 3rd consecutive tour of the South East.
